Apple will redesign their iPhone for 2017. We can expect that iPhone of 2017 will come in the market with impressive features.
iPhone 8 Features
Apple redesigns iPhone 8 with a glass body and edge-to-edge OLED display that includes an integrated Touch Id fingerprint sensor and front-facing camera.
And will be no Home button because Touch Id and Camera may be built directly into the display.
For several years Jony Ive has wanted to introduce an iPhone that looks like a single sheet of glass and 2017 may be the year that it’s possible. The display of iPhone 8 will be flexible OLED rather than an LCD, and that allowing Apple to introduce a thinner device that will consume less power and offer a better display with higher contrast. There will have a 10 nano-meter A11 chip that will be both faster and more efficient inside the iPhone 8.
Apple could also include features like long-range wireless charging and biometric addition like iris or facial scanning. Suppliers of Apple are already gearing up to start producing components for the iPhone8.
For the last several years, Apple has released its iPhone updates in September, so we can expect to see the iPhone 8 in September of 2017. And the 10th anniversary of iPhone will be held on 2017.
Apple may be adding iris scanning capabilities to their iPhone of 2018. Iris scanning scans a person’s iris like a fingerprint, which is unique for everyone. And there is little possibility that Apple may be using this service in 2017 iPhone. Iris scanning rumors have come from two sources, but with the 2017 and 2018 iPhones still far off, Apple’s plans could change.
Given the major changes Apple plans to introduce to the iPhone in 2017, it seems unlikely the device will receive an “S” name, so there’s a good chance Apple may decide to skip directly to the next full number, naming the 2017 iPhone.
iPhone is a tentative name for the device – it has not yet been confirmed by Apple – but it seems to be the most logical choice for a major update.
